Title No Place to Hide Hidden Identity #3Author Lynette EasonPages 332Year 2015Publisher RevellMy rating is 4 out of 5 starsJackie Sellars is doubting God and finds herself on the run with Ian Lockwood Ian is being hunted He is wanted by authorities for his alleged role in a terrorist plot Before she knows it Jackie’s name is being linked with Ian’s as a possible accomplice Jackie and Ian are on the run as soon as they run into each other when Jackie breaks into Ian’s home Jackie and Ian were best friends years ago but Jackie left town suddenly when they were teenagers and went to live with her grandfather They haven’t seen each other since Jackie had a huge crush on Ian back then but how does she feel about him now that he is wanted by the FBI Also the FBI isn’t the only organization hunting Ian Someone else seems to be in the game but they don’t want to capture Ian; they just want him silencedpermanentlyWhile they are busy trying to stay alive Ian continues to voice his innocence He claims he is being set up to look like the guilty party The Ian whom Jackie knew 15 years ago would never be connected in any fashion with terrorism But it has been a long time since they have seen each other and people can change right Jackie isn’t sure if the current Ian still holds the values of the Ian from her past Jackie’s job though is helping at risk people disappear but she and Ian want to clear his name Can they do so before they are both killed As they find what they think are safe places to hide the enemy tracks them down uickly causing them to have to run again How are they being found Can they stay alive long enough to prove Ian’s innocence capture the criminals and have a chance at the futureWhile there is action and tension the spark between Ian and Jackie just didn’t’ ignite for me I would have liked to have seen spiritual growth from Jackie before Ian proposed A prayer in a life and death moment doesn’t ensure eual ground spiritually between two soon to be spouses The plot was engaging and entertaining The three books in this series are all worth reading with plenty of action for the audience Faith and God is present in all three books which should be a part of a Christian book

It's not every day you see your childhood friend and one time crush on national news Jackie Sellers just wishes it were under different circumstances She can't believe that Ian Lockwood is wanted in connection with a te. No Place to Hide is filled with action and the pace never slows down This exciting story took me a little bit of time to really “get into” Once the plot caught my attention though the story flowed very uickly for meOne of the things that I enjoyed about this story was the fast pace It did not ever leave me bored New dangers were around every corner Something that took me a little time to get used to was that there were many little “sneak peeks” into other people’s lives It was a bit confusing at first to try to figure out who these people were keep them straight and tuck each bit of information away for the rest of the story But once I was able to do that I began to see potential ways that these people both good and bad were connected to what was going onAn interesting thread throughout the story is about how God is with us through everything the good and the bad The heroine of the novel has had many horrible and painful experiences in her lifetime leaving her to doubt the existence of God or specifically a God who cares and helps There is definitely discussion about why bad things happen to good people Jackie struggles with the concept that a loving God would allow those things to take placeIt took me awhile to connect with Jackie and Ian I don’t know why this was The author wrote an exciting story and the characters have history as friends to grow from I liked the characters and wanted them to have a good outcome but didn’t have that deep concern that I am used to experiencing for the characters I read about But I still enjoyed the story and was happy to see things work out for themMy thanks to the publisher for the complimentary copy of this book that was given to me in exchange for my honest reviewhttpsbrittreadsfictionwordpressc
