Goody goody and naive although the atmosphere is endearing I was a little worried that Maude had no safety net as in matchmaker did not offer to cover the brides ticket back if things went wrong but the guy was so perfect in every way such real life worries clearly weren't necessary I was surprised at detailed sex descriptions since the novel had a Christian feel
